The settle box mirrors the geometry of the settle stool and chair. It is an adaptable object which can be used to contain a light fitting or speaker. Other potential uses include a projector stand or side table. A small opening (100mm x 150mm) allows access for power.

The legs and frame are constructed from red deal, and the seat top is a European pine plywood. The colours are achieved through the application of a linseed oil stain. The inside of the box is stained light blue as per the legs.
